Aisha  Al-Majed  M.A., CCC-SLP

Speech & Language Pathologist

Aisha Al-Majed, M.A., CCC-SLP is a state licensed and ASHA certified speech and language pathologist with over 10 years of experience. Aisha earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the Communication Sciences and Disorders program at the University of Florida. She served the pediatric population in Asheville, North Carolina for eight years, treating children with articulation, phonological, and language disorders. In addition, Aisha created a reading program that provided assessment, therapy, and resources to children, with dyslexia and other reading delays, and their families. In 2013, Aisha relocated to the Atlanta area and continued to treat the pediatric, as well as the adult population.  She has worked with children and adults who have Autism, Down Syndrome, traumatic brain injuries, DiGeorge Syndrome, speech disorders, and receptive and/or expressive language disorders. Aisha is trained in Orton Gillingham,  the Lindamood Phoneme Sequencing Program for Reading, Spelling, and Speech (LiPS) and has completed a variety of continuing education courses in the following areas: dyslexia, preschool language, social communication disorders, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), Autism Spectrum Disorders, and Apraxia.

Rebecca Pruitt M.S., CCC-SLP

Speech & Language Pathologist

Rebecca Pruitt, M.S., CCC-SLP is a state licensed and ASHA certified speech-language pathologist. Rebecca earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Georgia and she earned her Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorder from Armstrong State University. Rebecca has experience working with preschool, elementary, middle and high school aged clients. Rebecca is currently working full-time for Gwinnett County Public Schools. She has experience working with children with Articulation Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Significant Developmental Delays, Downs Syndrome, Intellectual Disabilities, Stuttering, and Receptive and Expressive Language Delays. Rebecca has worked at EBS Children’s Therapy since 2016 and enjoys the ability to provide flexible and focused speech-language interventions.

Reneida Parker M.Ed., CCC-SLP

Speech & Language Pathologist

Reneida Parker, M.Ed., CCC-SLP, is a state licensed and ASHA certified speech-language pathologist.  Reneida earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from Mercer University. She continued her education at Valdosta State University and earned her bachelor’s in Communication Sciences and Disorders and her Master’s in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Reneida has experience working with children with Apraxia, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Language Disorders, and Articulation Disorders. She also has experience working with Adults with Dementia, Aphasia, Voice disorders, and Dysphagia. Reneida has recently completed Level 1 training for P.R.O.M.P.T certification.  Reneida is excited to be a part of the team at EBS Children’s Therapy!

Haley Jones M.Ed., CF-SLP 

Speech & Language Pathologist

Haley received her bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from the University of West Georgia, and then went on to complete her masters in Speech Language Pathology at the University of West Georgia. She is currently in her Clinical Fellowship year where she works full time as a school-based SLP in Gwinnett County. Haley has experience working with children with varying disorders such as Apraxia, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Language Disorders, and Articulation Disorders. She also has experience from her time in a Skilled Nursing Facility working with adults with dysphagia and cognitive deficits. Haley actually completed one of her internships in grad school at EBS Children’s Therapy. It has been awesome having her return here part time ever since she graduated!

Tina George M.S., CCC-SLP 

Speech & Language Pathologist

Tina is a certified and licensed speech-language pathologist with a Bachelor of Science in Speech Pathology/Audiology and a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology.  She is a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association.  She has experience working with children and adults in various communication disorders, which include articulation, language, fluency, voice, swallowing, cognition, etc. based on developmental and acquired (e.g. CVA, TBI, dementia, etc.) disorders.  Tina enjoys traveling, doing cultural and leisure activities, and trying out various cuisines during her spare time.

Sara Erickson M.S., Cf-SLP

Speech & Language Pathologist

Sara Erickson received her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Mississippi before going on to Murray State University where she earned her Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology. She began her career in the public school schools, gaining experience working with early intervention, preschool, elementary, and middle-school aged students. Her experiences include working with individuals with varying communication needs, such as Articulation, Receptive and/or Expressive Language Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disabilities, users of Augmentative and Alternative Communication, Fluency, motor speech disorders, and Voice Disorders. Sara also has a special interest in feeding and swallowing therapy. She is a certified caregiver through the NOW/COMP waiver in the state of Georgia. Sara could not be more thrilled and excited to join EBS Children’s Therapy!

Erin Cox M.Ed., CCC-SLP

Speech & Language Pathologist

Erin Cox, M.Ed. CCC-SLP, earned her Bachelor of Science in Education (B.S.Ed.) and Master of Education (M.Ed.) with specialty in Communication Disorders from Valdosta State University in Valdosta, GA. She is ASHA certified and holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence and Licensure in Speech Language Pathology in the States of Georgia and Florida. Erin began her career in January of 2007 and has experience in many different settings, including skilled nursing facilities, private practice, outpatient clinics, and school system. She is certified in Vital Stim and has treated a variety of pediatric conditions including deficits in articulation, fluency, language, feeding/swallowing, pragmatics, etc.

Erin was inspired to become a Speech-Language Pathologist, by her mother, who is also an SLP in South Georgia. Erin currently resides near Lake Lanier and in her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring different areas of the city, and vacationing between the mountains and beach.

Tara B. Feddern, MSOT, OTR/L

Occupational Therapist

Tara received her Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences at the University of Georgia and her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Brenau University. In addition to her passion for working in outpatient pediatrics, Tara considers her clinical experiences in other settings profoundly impactful. She has worked with adult populations with developmental disabilities and with those with chronic mental illnesses. Tara also worked in the Hall County School System. She is an advocate for young adults requiring transition services into adulthood. Tara has studied the effects of Hippotherapy, co-writing The Predictive Validity of the Hippotherapy Evaluation and Assessment Tool, under advisor, Mary P. Shotwell, Ph.D., OT/L, FAOTA.   Prior to acquiring her MSOT degree, Tara’s work experience expands from designing spaces in pediatric hospitals to providing direct support in group homes for adults with intellectual disabilities. Tara remains vigilant reading the latest evidence-based literature regarding the sensory integration frame of reference, as well as the cognitive behavior therapy and mindfulness approaches. She pursues ongoing neurological education regarding Autism, Selective Mutism, Down syndrome and the Brain-Gut Connection. Tara is passionate about implementing the best practices while desiring to enrich lives, helping children achieve their maximum potential.   Outside of the clinic, Tara volunteers as a Sunday school teacher for elementary school-aged children, which she began in 2001. Tara has achieved an advanced brown belt in American Karate and is a very proud parent of 3 boys and 2 stepdaughters.

Caroline Moore, MSOT, OTR/L

Occupational Therapist

Caroline is a licensed and registered occupational therapist. Caroline received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at Kennesaw State University and her Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from Brenau University. Caroline has always had a huge passion for working with children which led her to the career path of occupational therapy. Caroline sees occupational therapy as a career that allows for fun, creativity, and empowerment of others. She loves working with diverse populations and has experience in the pediatric, geriatric, and mental health community. She has worked with children with a variety of conditions such as autism spectrum disorder, sensory processing disorder, developmental delay, feeding issues, cerebral palsy, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, intellectual disabilities, and many more. Caroline has also worked with adult and older adult populations with the conditions such as cerebrovascular accident, Parkinson’s, sickle cell, complex regional pain syndrome, conversion disorder, schizophrenia, and many more. Caroline’s goal is to make therapy as fun, creative, and effective as possible. She wants the kids she works with to feel empowered to be as independent as possible. In her free time, she loves to hang out with her family and friends, travel, read, listen to podcasts, participate in anything Harry Potter related, and play with her cat and dog. She is also currently working on learning Spanish.

Courtney Speed, MSOT, OTR/L

Occupational Therapist

Courtney received her Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2016. She then obtained her Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy from Brenau University in 2019. Her pediatric clinical education experience includes working with children with autism, learning disabilities, sensory processing difficulties, feeding difficulties (picky eaters), and fine/gross motor deficits. Courtney enjoys working with the pediatric population and hopes to make a difference in their lives, a difference they’ll carry on for a lifetime!

Wesley Bennick, M.B.A.

Office Manager

Wesley Bennick, M.B.A, is the office manager for EBS Children’s Therapy! She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from University of North Georgia and obtained her Masters in Business Administration with a focus on Healthcare Management from Brenau University. Wesley has a background in healthcare management with specialty practices serving clients in chiropractic, physical therapy, mental health, and behavioral health disciplines. Her experience includes all office administrative tasks including insurance verification, billing, and claims resolutions. She is very excited to be part of the EBS Children’s Therapy family!
